This vintage bath, in a 1930's home, had not had a facelift in almost 50 years. Although the seafoam fixtures are considered retro and somewhat desirable today, a return to it's original 1930's design was chosen. The standing shower was practicaly unusable with a ceiling height of 6'4 and poor drainage, so it was closed in to create additional space elsewhere. A shower head was installed in the tub. The fixtures were replaced with a parisian sink and classic white tub and toilet. White Hexagon tile with black grout replaced the existing tile. A black and white color scheme gives the bathroom a sophisticated aesthetic.
